- Title: Shelley's farewell to summer

Hi everyone!
It was a wonderful summer, and I'm sure like most of you,we are mourning the loss of our carefree days at the pool, vacations, and all the good stuff summer brings. I took my
last "official" beach trip of the summer a few weeks ago, and I wanted to tell you about it. Myself and a few good friends stayed in a house that a very good friend of mine from Nashville just bought. It is very close (walking distance actually) to the cutest little beach town in the world called Seaside. It is right between Destin and Panama City, Florida. I wanted to give all of you the link to this wonderful house because she is just beginning to rent it. She is a wonderful Christian women and her property is gorgeous. It has a private pool and is literally steps from the beach.....click here to view the house. I hope all of you will check it out!! : )
Caroline also started kindergarten!! She is loving her wonderful teacher, Ms. McGarry. I totally cried the first day; I'm attaching a couple of pictures from that as well- not the crying, just of Caroline!! It is good to get back into the swing of fall. We are having Caroline's birthday party this weekend, so we have lots of family coming in for the big day. My backyard will be a big amusement park on Saturday!! We rented a 19 foot waterslide (I know we're nuts), a bouncy thing, and a cotton candy machine...all we're missing is the "fried snicker booth..." She wanted an "Alvin and the Chipmunks" theme....HA HA HA....I say that sarcastically because absolutely no Alvin and the Chipmunks party supplies exist.... that being said, we had to get creative. I found someone to make me three cakes, each one like one of the chipmunks...and David ordered a 6 foot movie banner that we're going to hang somewhere.... that will be about the extent of the "theme".....Seriously, we're so doing McDonald's birthday next year....do they still do those??
OK, I'll let ya'll go for now! See ya on the road,
Love,
Shelley
PS- Just posted some other new photos from the Opry in the photo gallery. Go check them out!

- Title: New Beginnings for the Cappillino's

Good morning everyone...
Is everyone getting back in the swing of school? It has been a very emotional week for me. Darby began this week with many "first" time events. Monday she rode her bike for the first time without her training wheels. So everyday we have family bike rides - so great!! It was quite symbolic of what was to come next. On Wednesday she "drove" off to kindergarten- Her first day of school. (pictures below) Mom and Dad are experiencing a few mixed emotions. Over all we are thrilled for her. She is loving school and looks forward to riding the bus with all of her neighbors and best buds.
So, a week of new beginnings for the Cappillino's... I have a sudden urge to clean out all of my closets too. So weird, but I love to do that kind of thing.
Have a great week and enjoy the new beginnings that may come your way this month. Embrace all that God has for you each day knowing, "He who began a good work in you will complete it..." Hang in there!!
Blessings, leigh
p.s. In case you have not check us out on you tube - you must!! We have been video taping our POG trips and they are a scream. Hope you like!!
